Therapy can help you build the foundations of change!

There are times when we cannot do it alone and need to enlist the help of a professional therapist.  Carla Alves da Silva uses a combined therapeutic approach to help you gain insight into the underlying issues that impact your life and learn new skills that will assist you in making the changes you desire.

Carla has developed her own unique assessment process that effectively unveils hidden issues, making way for a more focussed therapy programme.

People are made up of life's experiences which we accumulate over the years.  Some are happy memories whilst others are buried deep in our subconscious affecting our health and the way we relate with others.  Symptoms can often manifest themselves as depression, eating and sleeping disorders, panic attacks, stress and more.

Strategies for coping with life's demands can range from escaping in work, drink or food to isolating ourselves from the world.  Pride and shame can keep us in a cycle which may ultimately be destructive.  Whatever challenges you are facing remember that change is always possible if you want it.

Carla Alves da Silva is a qualified therapist working with a number of therapeutic approaches.  This site will give you some information about her work and details on ways to help and support yourself in your journey.
