Cravings & Binges

Umbalanced eating patterns cause cravings
that often result in binges

Fast foods & ready-made meals are
major contributors to obesity

Short Term Gain Long Term Pain!
Easy cook, fast food and microwave meals have become an attractive solution to today’s fast pace of life.  You may be tempted by the ready-made meals you take out of the freezer and into your stomach in 10 seconds… well 10 minutes!  Followed by the mouth-watering chocolate dessert with the to-dye-for rich, smooth, creamy centre that leaves you salivating at the supermarket check out.  Not to mention the biscuits, crisps and snacks!

The amount of food and pattern of eating can vary day-to-day according to how you are feeling or what dramas you have had to deal with.  This will include cravings and binges for sugars, fats and alcohol.
Following a binge you may at times miss a meal in order to feel better or less guilty!

When you skip a meal, even if you have been stuffing yourself since dawn, you will feel hungry, your blood sugar level drops and the whole binge process starts all over again leaving you feeling tired, lethargic, miserable and possibly depressed when you next look in the mirror or try on your favorite outfit!

This pattern of eating is nutritionally deficient, creates havoc in your body, sends your blood sugar levels into a spin and could lead to serious health problems in the future.   back to weight
