Ditch the Diet?

What do diets & dieting do for you?
Diets help you put on weight!

What would happen if you were to stop dieting?

Calorie Counting Food Combining Green Days and Sad Days...
Every diet you follow your body has to adjust to a different pattern of eating which is usually based on a rigid set of rules, a new selection of food, restricted portions, cut out the food and drink you like and a constant focus on what you can or cannot eat.  It can become an obsession!

You are probably great at sticking to the rules and watching your weight drop off in the first couple of weeks.  After the initial boost, the weight loss slows down or did the scales break?  You start to feel disappointed and want to comfort yourself with a ‘little something’.  Once you've had your 'treat' you feel the diet has gone out of the window so you plan to start again!  In the meantime you binge on all that you have been missing out on because the new diet is looming.

There are a number of people who have successfully achieved their ideal weight through dieting however, for many the weight goes back on the moment you return to your original pattern of eating.  Make an agreement with yourself to ditch the diets and learn to change your attitude towards food back to weight
