Walking Meditation
This is a very simple meditation, all it involves is you taking a walk in a peaceful environment. It could be your garden, the local park or a beautiful countryside, making sure you are safe before you start. The walking meditation is done in silence.
Stand with your feet shoulder width apart, take a couple of deep breaths letting go of all tension in your out breath. Look around and take in the beauty of your surroundings. Begin walking very slowly keeping your attention on your feet with each step you take. Walk for 15-30 minutes then find a place to sit with your eyes closed for another 10-15 minutes. Notice the changes in you and the difference in your wellbeing.

Dance Meditation
This is a simple and fun meditation, all you need is your favourite music and space to dance uninhibited (ie. nobody watching).
Select your music according to what mood you are in or want to be. Whether you choose fast upbeat music or soft tunes, pick about 30-45 minutes worth with another 10-15 minutes of gentle sounds. Stand bare feet and loose clothing, close your eyes and play your music allowing your body to move as it wants to. Remember nobody is watching and you are not entering for the disco diva awards! Keeping your eyes closed, sit or lay down for the last 10-15 minutes - bliss!

Vipassana Meditation
Find a comfortable place without any background noise or other distractions, sit in silence with your eyes closed, bring your awareness to your inward breath, noticing the air as it enters your nostrils, fills your lungs and is released in the outward breath. Notice if your mind gets busy and let go of any thoughts that may pop up taking your awareness once again to your breath. After 45 minutes, stand and begin walking very slowly for a further 15 minutes, noticing only each slow step you take. This meditation is done in total silence.
